Microsoft Project Essentials -- PM121

            enabling project success through technology

Most Microsoft Project courses focus on just the mechanics of the software. After class is over, many project managers struggle to make the software work with their projects and for their teams in their environments. Our Microsoft Project training is different. We teach you the fundamentals of how to use the software in conjunction with best practices, project management processes, and techniques. Our instructors use Microsoft Project to manage real projects in real organizations like yours. They will give you practical techniques to make the tool an asset in helping you achieve project success, not a hindrance or headache.

This course introduces the learner to Microsoft Project 2003 to help manage a range of projects, from small to large scale. It covers the important aspects of creating and managing tasks and resources and producing key reports for the project sponsor, project manager and the project team.

The course is a combination of lecture and computer-based exercises using Microsoft Project 2003.
